Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how AppSharer collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website and services. By using AppSharer you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the platform:
- Account data: username, email address, password (stored securely as a hash), country and referral code.
- Payment data: your PayPal email or crypto address, and records of deposits, withdrawals and earnings.
- Profile data: information you choose to display on your public profile, such as your bio, avatar and channels.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser identifiers, and pages you visit, used for security and to prevent fraud.
- Proof submissions: screenshots, links and notes you upload to verify tasks, offers or shares.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- create and manage your account and show your balance and transaction history;
- credit earnings from offerwalls, tasks and app shares, and process withdrawals;
- operate the community chat and live earnings feed;
- prevent fraud, abuse and duplicate accounts;
- provide customer support and send service notifications;
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and local storage in a few, limited ways. When you first visit the site you will see a cookie-consent bar where you can choose to Accept or Decline:
- Necessary cookies keep you signed in and secure your session. These are always active because without them the platform cannot work.
- Preference storage remembers lightweight choices on your device, such as your theme selection, chat settings or whether you dismissed a notice.
- Analytics help us understand how visitors use the site and where our audience comes from. We count page views as aggregate, country-level numbers only: your full IP address is never stored, only a scrambled hash of it. If you opt in to analytics separately, a small analytics script may also run in your browser.
Choosing Decline disables optional analytics and preference tracking while necessary cookies continue to run the platform. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, though some parts of the platform may then behave differently.
5. Sharing Your Data
We never sell your personal data. We share data only:
- with offerwall, advertiser and payment partners who need it to fulfill a service you requested;
- with service providers who help us run the platform, under confidentiality obligations;
- with authorities where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6. Public Information
Information you post in community chat, on your public profile or in app sharer listings may be visible to other members. Think carefully before sharing personal details, and use the privacy controls on your profile to hide fields you prefer not to show.
7. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and anti-fraud requirements. You may request deletion of your account and data, subject to mandatory retention periods.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact our support team and we will respond within the timeframe required by law.
9. Security
We protect your data with industry standard encryption in transit and at rest, secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
AppSharer is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we will delete any such data we become aware of.
11. International Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located in other countries. By using AppSharer, you consent to the transfer of your data to facilities we or our providers operate, wherever they may be located.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be shown on this page, and significant changes will be communicated to you.
13. Contact
If you have questions or concerns about this policy or about your data, contact us through the Help Center or by opening a support ticket from your dashboard.
14. App Directory
If you submit an app to our App Directory, the details you provide (such as the app name, description, screenshots, website and developer name) are displayed publicly. This is separate from the App Share Marketplace. We review listings before they appear and may remove any that breach our Terms. Submitting a listing is optional and you can ask us to remove yours at any time by contacting support.
15. Blog Comments
If you comment on a blog post we store the name and message you submit (and, when you are signed in, your account), together with your IP address for spam prevention. Comments appear publicly once approved. You can ask us to remove your comments at any time by contacting support.
16. Self-Serve Advertising
If you run an ad campaign we store the banners, targeting options and campaign settings you submit, together with impression and click counts used for reporting and billing. Payment for ad purchases is handled by our payment providers. Banner images you upload are served publicly on the site while your campaign is active.
17. Public Contact Form
If you use our public Contact Us form we collect the name, email address, subject and message you submit, plus your IP address and browser information for spam prevention and security. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not use it for marketing.
18. Payment Records and Limits
When you deposit or withdraw, we store the method you used, the amount, the fee, the payout details you provide and the status of the request, as described under "Information We Collect". The minimum and maximum amounts you can transact are set per method by the operators of this site; these limits are platform settings and are not personal data about you.
19. Card & Online Payments
If you pay by card, your card details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment provider (for example Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number, security code or full expiry date. We store only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the status of the payment, together with any confirmation the provider sends us, so that we can record and reconcile your deposit and handle refunds, chargebacks and disputes as described under "Payment Records and Limits". The provider processes your payment data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.
20. Social Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with a third-party account such as Google or Facebook, the provider shares certain profile information with us — typically your name, email address, a profile identifier and, if available, your avatar. We use this information only to identify you and to create or access your account, and we link it to the profile you already have with us. If you prefer not to share this information, you can register and sign in with an email address and password instead.
21. Business Contact Data
For business-to-business marketing we may process limited, publicly available contact information about companies and their public business channels (for example a company website or a general enquiries email). This is business contact data rather than private personal information, and we use it only to reach out about our services. We honour opt-out requests and remove business contacts on request.
